SEMPRONIAN
Semproniano is a quiet village on the slopes of Monte Amiata. With just over 200 inhabitants, Semproniano is a small town particularly tied to its traditions and history.
Surrounded by the Maremma countryside, between the Albegna and Fiora rivers, Semproniano dominates a beautiful valley that is always green, even in winter.
The oldest buildings, monuments and city walls tell of an ancient past and are a precious testimony to the medieval and Renaissance history of this area.
Or there is its fortress, the Rocca Aldobrandesca, which despite being little more than a ruin, continues to overshadow the city with its grace and imposing presence.
The Aldobrandesca Fortress, or rather what remains of it today, continues to dominate the entire town from above, and is one of the main attractions of the village of Semproniano.
