Amiata Indiana Park
One of the first adventure parks in Italy has existed since 2013. It extends over two hectares of beech forest. On Monte Amiata there is one of the largest beech forests in Europe, the park occupies part of it. This area is splendid from a naturalistic point of view and offers a fantastic environment for all those who like to spend their free time in contact with nature. On the park site there are also paths to follow on foot or by bicycle. If you are not interested in experiencing the thrill of ‘Tarzaning’ you can still spend a beautiful day outdoors at the park.
Activities on the structures are possible from 10 am to sunset, weather permitting.
There are routes suitable for all ages and for this reason it is also very suitable for families with children. Fun is guaranteed for all levels of preparation.
The blue and yellow routes are among the most recommended for children under the age of nine and under 110 cm in height. The other routes can also be used without problems by children aged 9 and over, at least 130 meters tall
cm. The red route requires a minimum height of 150 cm and 10 years of age.
For the more daring, we recommend ‘tree climbing’, which consists of climbing a tree with a leap into the void.
Suitable for everyone, but thinking in particular of families and groups of friends, the treasure hunt in the woods, following the GPS tracks.
On the adventure park website it is indicated that groups larger than ten people need to book in advance. If you are organizing a day for a company or a school group, and the number of participants is higher, keep in mind that the park is open all year round for groups of more than fifteen people. The experience is certainly one to remember and could be a nice gift to give to your collaborators or to the class.
Speaking of school groups, but in reality it is important for everyone to know, it must be said that all minors must be accompanied by an adult who must remain present at the park for the entire duration of use of the paths. Furthermore, minors aged 16 and over can access the facilities only if they have a release signed by a parent and a document from the parent (in original).
Finally we want to give you some more news about safety. The adventure park was designed and built by one of the leading companies in Italy for this type of facilities. The structures are checked and overhauled every year to maintain the highest safety standards. The trees on which the paths are placed and their health are also monitored by a licensed agricultural professional. The lifts can only be used after wearing the equipment provided by the park.
Clever CliC-It® carabiners are used to secure participants to the ropes, an innovative safety system that prevents the two carabiners from being accidentally released. The children’s courses are equipped with a continuous lifeline, a system in which the child hooks his carabiner at the beginning and never releases it until he has returned with his feet on the ground.
Nearby you can visit some of the most beautiful villages in Maremma, such as Castel del Piano, Arcidosso and Santa Fiora, included in the list of the most beautiful villages in Italy, and taste the local specialties in the excellent restaurants near the park. All that remains is to organize the visit. Good fun!

TIPS FOR THE VISIT
It is advisable to wear sports clothing and suitable shoes. Open sandals of any kind are prohibited.
It’s always good to bring a bottle of water. Especially in the summer time.
For safety reasons, the park strictly requires that long hair must be tied back. Please also do not wear bulky earrings, necklaces and watches.
Given that climatic conditions affect the usability of the park, we recommend calling and checking with the management if the facilities are open before travelling.
Since the park is 1400 m above sea level, the weather is very variable and it could happen that the management is forced, against its will, to close the facilities without warning.
