The thermal park
The thermal park of Saturnia, one of the largest in Europe, offers its visitors a tub of pure spring water, thermal pools, thermal water waterfalls, whirlpools and water paths. Also available to visitors is an efficient SPA and a Wellness Club with sauna, internal relaxation areas, sunbed and umbrella in a reserved area, drinks and fruit, changing room and locker. The Health Club
The Terme di Saturnia Wellness Club offers a unique experience of tranquility and regeneration. This corner of paradise allows you to forget your daily worries and immerse yourself in the Source, the natural thermal lake located in the heart of the Resort, from which the thermal water flows. Access to the Club allows you to use both the facilities of the Thermal Park and the Spring.
The Club has private and welcoming environments, designed to reduce sensory stimuli and encourage contemplation, inspiration and the finding of inner balance. Among the rooms of the farmhouse that houses the Club, there are the Hay Room, characterized by the sweet woody essence of golden hay, the Cocoon Room, with comfortable round beds, and the Silence Room, perfect for relaxation and meditation.
A truly unique experience is the Notturno Club, which offers the opportunity to take a dip under the stars every Friday evening, in a magical atmosphere created by the union of water reflections and starry skies, accompanied by melodies that harmoniously among the vapors.
The Club also offers evening access to the Thermal Spring from 8.30pm to 11.30pm on Friday evenings.
Properties of Water
The thermal waters of Saturnia are classified as sulphurous-carbonic-sulphate-bicarbonate-alkaline-earthy, at a constant temperature of 37.5°C.
They are indicated in the treatment of various pathologies:
- Pharyngitis, tonsillitis, sinusitis and rhinitis;
- Eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, dermatosis, acne and other skin diseases;
- Bronchitis;
- Veno-lymphatic insufficiency;
- Small liver failure;
- Natural peeling and exfoliating effect on the skin, cleansing and antiseptic properties.

Prices and Rates for the Thermal Park
Access to the Saturnia spa, particularly the pool park, is well structured to provide a relaxing and enjoyable experience for visitors. Here is an overview of how access is organized and a guide to prices:
Spring/Summer (from 03/30/2024 to 10/27/2024): 9:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Fall/Winter (from 2/11/2023 to 29/03/2024): 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The spa is generally open year-round, with opening hours that may vary depending on the season. However, it is advisable to check the official website or contact the spa directly for up-to-date schedules.
There is a ticket office at the entrance where tickets can be purchased. It is also possible to purchase tickets online in advance, which can be helpful to avoid queues, especially during busy periods.
Within the pool park, visitors can access several thermal pools, with temperatures ranging from 37-38°C. Waterfalls, whirlpools, and relaxation areas are also available.
Locker rooms and lockers are available to safely store personal belongings. Usually, the use of lockers is included in the ticket price.
Afternoon admission, usually valid from the early afternoon hours until closing, can cost less, with prices starting at about 20-25 euros per person.
Generally, prices for daily admission start from about 25-30 euros per person, but can go as high as 50 euros or more during peak season.
Family packages offering discounts for groups of adults and children are often available.
For those who wish to attend the spa on a regular basis, monthly or seasonal passes are available that offer a reduced price compared to purchasing individual admissions.
There are bars and restaurants within the park where food and drinks can be purchased.
Especially on weekends and holidays, it is advisable to make reservations in advance to ensure access.

Terme di Saturnia Spa offers a wide selection of personalized wellness and beauty services. The spa has 53 rooms reserved for face and body treatments, luxury rituals, spa therapies, specialized consultations, naturopathy, physiotherapy and movement wellness sessions. Several types of treatments are available, including facial care, body therapies, massages and rituals, and beauty services. Aesthetic medicine services are also offered, such as fillers, injectable therapies, lasers and peelings, under the guidance of experts in Dermatology and Thermal Medicine. Special attention should be paid to the“Rebalance Method,” a program designed to take care of oneself and achieve various goals, such as reshaping the body, eliminating accumulated toxins, stimulating the immune system, and reactivating energy flows.
THERMAL TREATMENTS
An entire area of the spa is dedicated to spa treatments and offers a wide range of treatments. Among these, muds, particularly suitable for treating arthritis and rheumatism, and inhalation therapies, ideal for solving respiratory problems, including bronchitis and sinusitis. Every Italian citizen who is entitled to one cycle of spa therapies per year paid for by the National Health Service, presenting only a prescription from the family doctor indicating the diagnosis and type of treatment, can turn to Terme di Saturnia to carry out the cycle of treatments such as mud therapy combined with thermal bath, balneotherapy in a single tub, and inhalation treatments under an agreement with the National Health Service.
How to get to the Terme di Saturnia
The Terme di Saturnia and the municipality of Manciano are easily reachable by car.
If you come from northern Italy, take the A1 motorway, exiting at Firenze Certosa, take the freeway towards Siena – Grosseto – Scansano – Montemerano up to Manciano and Saturnia.
If instead you are coming from the south, take the A12 motorway and exit at Civitavecchia, take the S.S. Aurelia until you pass Montalto di Castro, then turn towards Vulci reaching Manciano and Saturnia.
To reach the thermal park, follow the provincial road Follonata SP/10.
