Renato Fucini

This famous Italian writer was born on Via Roma in
Monterotondo Marittimo
in 1843.

To celebrate him and his work, the City Council, the University of Siena and the Pro Loco of Monterotondo Marittimo are establishing a biennial literary prize, which is now nationally recognized.

Those interested in Fucini will still be able to browse his home on Via Roma. There is a plaque there commemorating him, so you can’t miss it!
