Opened in 2009, this aquarium offers visitors a glimpse into lagoon life. Different species of fish, some beautiful and some very ugly, coexist in harmony in the different tanks modeled on the Orbetello Lagoon. This way the fish feel at home!

In one room there is an exhibition of ancient fishing boats, tools and old photos that recreate the proud fishing traditions of Orbetello.

In another room, visitors can observe patients in the turtle hospital that shares the building with the aquarium.

I can't think of a better way to spend a rainy afternoon than admiring the wonderful fish of the Orbetello lagoon.
