Here there is no traffic, pollution and confusion and this is probably what attracts cyclists the most, the Maremma in fact promises peace and relaxation, completely immersed in the country paths.
There are more than 30 cycling itineraries in Maremma, the most important and demanding is certainly the Grand Tour of Maremma.

The main competitions in Maremma:
Gran Fondo Città del Tufo Pitigliano, takes place the first weekend of May. The itinerary passes through the ancient Etruscan Vie Cave and the characteristic village of Pitigliano. Gran Fondo MTB Argentario, takes place between the end of March and the first half of April (depending on weather conditions) the route follows the coast of the promontory. 44 kilometres. Registration fee €30. For more information, visit the official website.
Gran Fondo Città di Grosseto, takes place the last weekend of April and is one of the main ones in the Maremma. Different tracks available, from the shortest of 44 kilometers to the longest of 142 kilometers. Registration fee €30. For more information visit the official website.
