Marina di Grosseto

Marina di Grosseto is one of the leading seaside tourist destinations in the Tuscan Maremma.

About 12 kilometers from Grosseto, Marina is one of the most beautiful seaside resorts in Tuscany, bathed by the crystal clear waters of the Tyrrhenian Sea. The beach of Marina di Grosseto represents the most authentic spirit of the Maremma, an endless expanse of fine sand set between the blue waters of the sea and the green forest of maritime pines, scattered here and there imposing logs smoothed by the water are used to create the characteristic “natural huts” to shelter from the sun.

The beach

The beach in Marina di Grosseto borders the Maremma Natural Park and is bordered by a green pine forest. The beach is very wide and extends for several kilometers, even touching the town of Marina di Grosseto, from which there are numerous accesses to the sea. There are many bathing establishments with restaurants and umbrella and sunbed rentals and large stretches of free beach. This stretch of Maremma coastline is very quiet and suitable even for young children, in fact the seabed is shallow for many meters and the waters are almost always calm. The beach is also popular for the opportunity to enjoy outdoor sports, beach volleyball, beach tennis, beach soccer, and water sports, kitesurfing, windsurfing, and sailing.

Bicycle Paths

Marina di Grosseto lies in a flat location, and the many bicycle paths allow people to get almost anywhere by bicycle.
