Acqua Village Follonica

In Follonica, a splendid Maremma city as well as a beautiful seaside tourist resort on the Tuscan coast, there is one of the most important amusement parks in Tuscany, the Acqua Village of Follonica.

The Follonica playground, as well as the Cecina park, is a Hawaiian themed water park suitable for adults and children! Many attractions are available to visitors: the GIN-CO, KAMIKAZE, ANACONDA and SURFING HILL slides, the WAVE POOL, MOKU – THE CHILDREN’S ISLAND and MAKAI – THE ISLAND OF WELLNESS.

Also many attractions: ALOHA DANCE and SOCCER.

The Follonica water park also hosts several refreshment points: ALOHA FAST FOOD & BAR CAFETERIA, GRANITERIA HAPPY PUBBY, BAR – CAFETERIA, WAFFLE POINT, HOT DOG POINT, FRUITTERIA – YOGURTERIA AND ALHOA RISTO FOOD.

There is also a bazaar available to visitors where they can purchase swimming pool equipment, life jackets, water toys, inflatables, balls, swimsuits and sun creams, as well as various park souvenirs.

A team of photographers is on hand every day for a Hawaiian-style souvenir photo! To take home a photo of games, moments with family or friends.

At the park you will also find two car parks, one free and one paid, lockers to store your personal belongings, safes and safes directly at the umbrella, umbrellas, sunbeds, services, showers and free WI-Fi connection throughout the park.

GIN-CO SENSORY SLIDE

It is a multi-track slide from 15 to 55 meters high, suitable for both children and adults. The slides can also be traveled with the dinghy. The sensorial experience of this initial slide with the ginseng scented water sprayers, then the various materials of which the slide is made, cork, grass, water and sand, the LED lights, and themed music. This slide was created in collaboration with Ozlab, a famous design company in the amusement park sector.

KAMIKAZE SLIDE

The Kamikaze is the tallest slide in the Follonica water park. A 56 m long course at very high speed that ends with a dip in the water. Two slides available.

Slides with undulating paths and sudden jumps before arriving at the final dive at great speed. More routes available.

WAVE POOL

The wave pool is the largest in the park, with an area of 1600 m2. Artificial waves are recreated at regular intervals! Also at 12:00 and 16:00 appointment with Aloha Dance, with fitness instructors.

MOKU – THE ISLAND OF CHILDREN

Play area designed for the little ones. In this pool, also with a Hawaiian theme, there are some fun slides and a playground. Many attractions to stimulate the curiosity of the little ones.

MAKAI – THE ISLAND OF WELLNESS

Wellness pool for the whole family. The swimming pool occupies an area of 900 m2 divided between hydromassages, sensory showers, energizing showers, waterfalls, water features and of course a beautiful Hawaiian set design. A sensorial journey with the scent of tea starts from the waterfalls. This pool was also built with the help of Ozlab.

Together with a group of friends we spent a pleasant and fun day at the Acqua Village in Follonica, a beautiful water park a few kilometers from Grosseto. We really had a lot of fun, the slides are very exciting, especially those where two people can go down in a dinghy! The pools are also beautiful, especially the wave one! There are also excellent refreshment points that allow you to have a quick meal at an honest price. The slush kiosk is fun where you can create your own personalized slush!

The Acqua Village of Follonica is an excellent solution for spending a fun day on hot summer days. The pools are spotless and all the attractions are very fun, from the numerous slides to the pools. The wave pool is a real challenge! Lots of attractions even for the little ones!

Every year it is a mandatory stop! The water village of Follonica, just half an hour's drive from Grosseto! There are many slides to try your hand on, GIN-CO, KAMIKAZE and SURFING HILL, but also the wave pool, the pool for the little ones and a relaxing pool with caves and waterfalls, in short, perfect for one or more days of summer fun !

Follonica is not only one of the most beautiful seaside resorts in the Tuscan Maremma, but it also hosts one of the most important water parks in Tuscany, the Acqua Village! Welcoming and spotlessly clean, it is a park designed for adults and children, with many attractions for all ages, from slides to swimming pools, from the five-a-side football pitch to the bazaars and refreshment points… highly recommended!
