Devil’s Bridge
This 3rd century BC bridge it was built by Roman hands and has required very little maintenance since then.
They just don’t make them like they used to!
The original bridge was known as the “Rainbow Bridge” due to its obvious arch shape and was one of the few to cross the Fiora river, which was very deep and very dangerous.
Today it adds to the mystery and intrigue of ancient Vulci, but it could be argued that most people just stop here and take in the incredible views of the Viterbo countryside and roaring river below.
