Cellar Festival

Second weekend of September

The Festa delle Cantine celebrates the two great loves of every Manciano native: food and wine. For the locals it is an opportunity to have fun by tasting the local wines and typical products of the area, famous throughout the Maremma and throughout Italy.

For tourists, it is the perfect opportunity to taste the products that make the Maremma famous and to discover the beauty of the village of Manciano, a splendid medieval town, known by the nickname “Spy of the Maremma”. To discover its most ancient traditions, and experience the most authentic lifestyle of this village in the Tuscan Maremma.

During the festival, which takes place on the second weekend of September, the whole village organizes itself to offer a weekend of fun, musical performances, stalls and tastings of excellent local products.

Wine, ciaffagnoni, fried pizzas, bruschetta and other typical products in abundance, all accompanied by extraordinary local wines and enlivened by folk songs and traditional songs!

The alleys of the center are filled with life, food, music until late at night, on the last evening, Sunday, everyone celebrates together with the traditional fireworks.

A note about wine, a great variety of products, often awarded with precious DOC and IGP awards, intense red wines and delicate whites, the result of centuries of winemaking tradition and the unconditional love of the locals for this still uncontaminated land.
