Majesty Church

Also known as the Church of Our Lady of the Rosary, this church is located in Piazza Cesare Battisti in
Castell’Azzara
and was built in the first half of the 16th century.

Simply designed, the interior of the church houses some splendid 16th-century works of the Sienese school, including the “Madonna of the Rosary,” the “SS Domencio” and the “Catherine of Siena,” all painted by local artists.

The remaining walls are covered with frescoes that, compared to many other churches in the area, are very well preserved.
