Amiatino Theatre
In the second half of the nineteenth century the ancient town hall of Castel del Piano was transformed into a beautiful theater with a balcony, a ceiling decorated with floral motifs and a colored wooden stage.
Unfortunately, subsequent renovation works destroyed much of its original structure and in 1984 the city council commissioned a complete renovation to restore the theater to its former glory.
Today the theater hosts a full program of concerts, operas, ballets and other events throughout the year.
It's worth a visit, especially if somethings on.
