Not much remains, but it was enough for archaeologists to realize that this was a meeting place for important citizens of Thing.<\/p>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f06d494 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"f06d494\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t<p class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">In the stone mess, you can make walls and doors, as well as a series of supporting pillars. To the west is a Byzantine basilica, built, along with the adjacent cemetery, in the 6th century.<\/p>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-af1d877 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"af1d877\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t<p class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Next to the basilica, separated by a narrow street, are the remains of the curia and comitium.<br>\nThe comitium was a gathering place for citizens. The curia was a smaller version of the Senate of Rome and was where the men who governed the city gathered. Some ruins of a temple, dedicated to Concordia, sit nearby.<\/p>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-058e75b elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"058e75b\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t<p class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">The planning of the Forum is important because it says a lot about the mindset of the Romans.
