However, one of its three towers, the clock tower (below), is still visible from the southeast corner of the castle.<\/p>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-af6c7bc elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"af6c7bc\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t<p class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Sure, the castle now looks almost like an ordinary house, but it has had a rather illustrious past.<\/p>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-b8c8a5c elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"b8c8a5c\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t<p class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">The Aldobrandeschi brothers quarreled over who would commission it in the 13th century. The winner was decided by a game of dice, and if that is not a great way to decide the fate of large castles, I don't know what is.<\/p>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f8ccfa2 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"f8ccfa2\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t<p class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">After the Aldobrandeschi family, the Basques of Orvieto moved in, followed by the Sforza family in the 15th century.
