The objects exhibited in this section of the museum date back to a period from the foundation of the city up to the Augustan period, when Roselle was the capital of Etruscan colony in Tuscany.<\/p>\n<p>On display are funerary objects, votive statues, wine barrels, stones with Latin engravings, Roman terracotta statues and various decorations, all dating from the 5th-3rd century BC.<\/p>\n<p>On the second floor of the museum there is an exhibition of archaeological finds from various sites in the area.<\/p>\n<p>Among the most interesting objects exhibited in the museum there is certainly a Euboic Createre from Pescia Romana and dated 730 BC, and an African wreck found in the depths of the Island of Giglio, near <a href=\"http:\/\/www.maremma.name\/giglio-island\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Giglio Porto<\/a> \u2013 precious testimony of commercial activities in the Etruscan era.<\/p>\n<p>Also of great interest are the documents that tell the culture, language, writing and funerary traditions of the Etruscans, and the important innovations brought by the Roman conquerors.<\/p>\n<p>The last section of the museum, on the third floor, houses a collection of objects found in Grosseto and around the city, dating back to the Medieval and Renaissance periods.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-50 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-f8f7885\" data-id=\"f8f7885\" data-element_type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-inner-section elementor-element elementor-element-05c1798 elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"05c1798\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-settings=\"{&quot;jet_parallax_layout_list&quot;:[]}\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-inner-column elementor-element elementor-element-ffc3b40\" data-id=\"ffc3b40\" data-element_type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-7c19510 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"7c19510\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">info<\/span>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-e0f2aac elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"e0f2aac\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span class=\"emoji\">Historic centre, Piazza A.
