From Follonica to Capalbio, 1,700 km of coastline are washed by the placid Tyrrhenian Sea, so you can choose from hundreds of beaches. For families, there is nothing better than the soft sands of Albinia. For something more secluded, choose the cliffs near Porto Ercole, while for an unforgettable panorama walk along the paradisiacal Cala Violina di Scarlino. Or, leaving aside the beaches, you can decide to sit on the banks of the Lagoon
of Orbetello to watch the fishermen casting their nets in a tradition that dates back to the 15th century. With 30 minutes by ferry you can reach the largest island of Maremma, Giglio.
