It is a long strip of land of about 6km that runs from the Argentario to the mouth of the Albegna river, near the town of Albinia. A first important settlement existed during the Spanish domination, in the 1500s, but the real growth of this rural area occurred only from the 18th century. Since 1989 the farmhouse has hosted the \u201cAurelio Peccei\u201d Environmental Education Center and constitutes the access to the WWF asy.
